Our mission
Burpees & Croquettes was founded with a clear mission: to transform every purchase into a concrete action for stray cats.
We believe that a brand should not only sell products, but actively participate in positive change. This is why we have made charitable commitment a fundamental pillar of our identity, and not just a marketing slogan.
Our promise: 10% of our net profit donated
Each year, we donate 10% of our net profit to feline associations for their actions in favor of stray cats.
Why net profit rather than a percentage of the sales price?
Because we want to be honest. On a t-shirt, the actual margin after production, shipping, banking fees, social and tax charges is much lower than what consumers imagine. Promising 10% of the sales price would either be dishonest (impossible to maintain financially), or would force us to sell at an artificially inflated price.
By donating 10% of our actual net profit, we are making a concrete commitment. The more the brand grows, the more we donate. It's a virtuous circle where your support multiplies the impact.
Total transparency
We commit to publishing each year:
• The exact amount donated
• The name of the beneficiary association(s)
Everything will be published on this page and shared on our social networks. No vague promises, no greenwashing: just figures, receipts, results.
Why stray cats?
We often talk about abandoned animals, dogs, shelters. Much less about stray cats, who remain the great invisibles of the animal cause.
However, in France:
• Between 8 and 11 million cats live on the streets
• An unspayed female cat can give birth to over 20,000 descendants in 4 years
• The majority do not live more than 2 to 5 years on the streets
• Associations desperately lack the means to feed them, care for them, and fund sterilization campaigns
Every euro counts. And that's exactly where we come in.
Beyond financial donations
Donating a portion of our profits is good. But we want to go further:
• Give visibility to the cause through our social networks and our community
• Highlight local associations that work daily
• Raise awareness about sterilization, identification, and responsible adoption
• Share stories of cats saved thanks to your support
